Do you have a passion for nature and love the outdoors? We are looking for Volunteer Forest School Assistants to help with our Forest School after school club. Sessions include all sorts of fun activities for kids to get stuck into and our assistants have as much fun as the children!
Taking place at various sites around Essex we are offering weekly sessions at Belfairs Woodland Centre between 3 and 5pm. Absolutely no wildlife knowledge is required but enthusiasm is essential, all volunteering will help contribute to our on the ground conservation work. You will receive training, logo uniform, travel expenses and the chance to work with a friendly and professional team of volunteers and staff.

After a long hot summer and a spectacularly colourful autumn, the temperatures and the leaves have finally dropped. Along with the cooler weather, wintering birds have arrived on our shores, one of which is the Dark-bellied Brent Goose (Branta bernicla).
