Brentwood and Billericay - Wildlife Walk at Bedfords Park

Unseasonal weather brought some late wildlife sightings last Saturday 14th October

Only a small group ventured into the London Borough of Havering for a walk round this council-managed Park on a mild, but only occasionally sunny, autumn morning. Recent weather conditions had discouraged the early arrival of winter visitors but large areas of scrub, woodland and meadow seemed to provide plenty of habitat for resident birds. Even common species were hard to find however.
