This course is a general introduction to the importance of biological recording and the use of species records in conservation. The course will cover what information is needed to record species, how to submit records, and how they are being used.

What to bring?:
Tea, Coffee & Biscuits will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch. If you are interested in recording a particular taxonomic group please feel free to bring in guidebooks / equipment and notebooks to record with on the day, and appropriate clothing and footwear as there may be opportunities to visit parts of the site during the day. A USB stick may also be useful.
