Making Curriculum Links in Forest School

These one day courses for adults working with children / young people will develop skills used in Forest School or Outdoor learning sessions.There is a mixture of theory and learning and will be based outside.

They are run by Essex Wildlife Trust Outdoor Learning team and located in the Beautiful Abbotts Hall Farm with woodland, meadows, gardens and two Forest School sites.

This course will enable you to creatively link the curriculum to Forest School without compromising the Forest School ethos.

We will explore the following:

Making key stage one and two curriculum links within Forest School. Methods of observing, evaluation and recording.
