Volunteer Warden - Two Tree Island

Do you want to make a difference for Wildlife in Essex? A volunteer warden is required to regularly monitor and maintain Two Tree Island. Volunteers need a willingness to be outside, a keen eye for spotting change, an appreciation of the importance of keeping records up to date and a strong independent work ethic.

This role is to monitor and maintain Two Tree Island as a Volunteer Warden. Two Tree Island is a 640 acre Nature Reserve near Leigh On Sea train station. It supports a wide variety of bird life and has had breeding Avocets in the past.

The warden would be the Trust’s eyes and ears on the ground caring for a site that supports a wide variety of bird life whilst also being a hub of activity for the local community.
