Volunteer Assistant Warden - Langdon

Do you want to make a difference for Wildlife in Essex? A volunteer assistant warden is required to help at our Langdon reserve. Volunteers need a willingness to be outside and to learn about the environment.

This role is to support the Warden at Langdon Hills reserve.


The Volunteer Assistant Warden will need excellent communication skills to liaise with the reserves team and visitors to the site. They will need a willingness to be outside in all weathers and a good level of fitness to carry out practical tasks all day (this can be built up over time). An understanding of urban nature reserves would be beneficial. All necessary training and assistance to perform these tasks will be provided.
