"Birdies" - Golf Course to Nature Reserve

An exploration of the many uses and activities for which the Naze has been used: Golf Course, Anti aircraft Battery, Radar Station, Rocket Testing Range, Potential Holiday Camp and finally public open space. This walk covers about two miles on fairly even terrain and it will last about two hours. We shall also take in wahtever wildlife we may encounter, though sitings cannot be guaranteed.

From Golf course to nature reserve. An exploration of The Naze’s uses past and present. Including golfcourse, radar station, rocket testing and much more.
