WeeklyOur visitor centre at Fingringhoe Wick is looking for Visitor Centre Assistants.
Fingringhoe Wick was Essex Wildlife Trust’s first nature reserve in 1961 and some years later it was where the Trust opened their first visitor centre, and fifty years on visitors are still coming to see this magical place.
Set in a spectacular position overlooking the Colne Estuary the visitor centre provides stunning views even on the dullest days It offers the visitor real peace and quiet and a chance to escape from it all.
We are looking for someone to help lend a hand in the visitor centre on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
As a Centre Assistant you would be involved with welcoming visitors to the centre and answering their questions on the reserve. You would also be involved with serving teas and coffees in our small café.
Absolutely no wildlife knowledge is required but enthusiasm is essential, all the work you do in the centres will help contribute to our on the ground conservation work.
