Summary: 

Do you know your insects from your arachnids? Or your molluscs from your earthworms? Invertebrates are incredibly diverse and sometimes difficult to identify. Join Rory Dimond on this beginner’s course outlining the major groups of invertebrates in the UK and how to separate them. By the end, you should be able to answer the question, ‘what’s that bug?’.

What to bring?: 

Please bring writing materials (pen and paper) to the session. If you have your own bug-hunting equipment (e.g. pots or small jars, hand lens and/or nets) please bring them along for the outdoor session. Note: We aim for this course to be inclusive. If you, like many people, have a phobia of particular invertebrates (e.g. spiders, wasps, or moths), please let the course leader know so that he can accommodate.
